Borussia Dortmund stormed into the Champions League semi-finals with a rip-roaring 4-2 home win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday that saw them overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg.

Marcel Sabitzer scored the winning goal in the 89th minute to send the German side through to the last four of the competition for the first time since 2013.

Erling Haaland had given Dortmund the lead in the 34th minute, but Joao Felix equalised for Atletico just before half-time.

Thomas Lemar then put Atletico ahead in the 51st minute, but Dortmund fought back with goals from Jude Bellingham in the 77th minute and Sabitzer in the 89th minute.
