In a pre-game ceremony prior to the Flames' matchup against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Calgary Flames honoured Miikka Kiprusoff by retiring his No. 34 jersey. The legendary goaltender's retirement was met with an outpouring of love and appreciation from the Flames organization and its fans.

Kiprusoff Joins the Flames Legends

Kiprusoff, who played 11 seasons with the Flames, becomes the fourth Flames player to have his number retired, joining forwards Lanny McDonald (No. 9), Al MacInnis (No. 2), and Jarome Iginla (No. 12).
